Truth is a big topic in the Bible. Being honest is always the best policy, and the Bible conveys that everywhere. It is said in the book of John that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. If He is the truth, then He wants all of His children to know truth and honesty. By reading the Bible, we can all understand the truth, and by applying the Bible, we can learn to be honest. The belt of truth is something all Christians need. Though it may be easiest to lie, it isn’t. Lying is a sin, and it has many consequences in the future, but truth doesn’t have any rightful consequences. By practicing being truthful, you can become an honest Christian whom people can trust.
